India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 | Postal GDS Notification 2024

India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Indian Postal department was released Postal GDS notification. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to fill the vacant posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) or Dak Sevaks.

Eligible candidates can apply through official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in from 15 July 2024 to 05 August 2024. See below about educational qualification, age limit, application fee.

Eligibility Criteria for India Post GDS 2024

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years

Age Relaxation

Applicants, who wish to be considered for reserved vacancies or seek age relaxation, will have to submit the requisite certificate from the competent authority in the prescribed format. Relaxation for upper age limit in postal gramin dak sevak (GDS) as fallows.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must pass 10th class or SSC from recognized university in India. Mathematics, English and local language should have studied up to secondary standard.

• Knowledge of cycling
• Adequate means of livelihood

India Post GDS Salary

Emoluments in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) plus Dearness Allowance thereon are paid to the GDS. The applicable TRCA to different categories are as under. Postal GDS Salary can see below.

• Branch Postmaster (BPM) – Rs.12,000-29,380
• Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) / Dak Sevak – Rs.10,000-24,470

Postal GDS Application Fee

All candidates pay application fee at the time of registration through official website only. Application fee for Indian Post GDS is 100/- rupees. However, payment of fee is exempted for all female applicants, SC /ST applicants, PwD applicants and Transwomen applicants.
