Recruitment of various posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), Chemical Supervisor (Research) and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research).

RRB JE Qualification
- Candidates should have requisite Educational/Technical qualifications.
- Candidates must already have the Educational/Technical qualifications from recognized Institute/University as on the closing date for submission of online application (i.e., 29-08-2024).
- Those awaiting results of their final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification should not apply.

Recruitment Process
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
- 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I)
- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination (ME)
1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I)
In the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) consists of 100 questions, duration is 90 minutes. Candidates qualified in the 1st stage will be shortlisted for 2nd stage.
The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.
Mathematics:
Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM and HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern.
General Intelligence and Reasoning:
Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
General Awareness:
Knowledge of Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity and constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General Scientific and technological developments etc.
General Science:
Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (up to 10th Standard CBSE syllabus). The section wise Number of questions and marks are as below.

Questions pertaining to General Awareness, Physics and Chemistry, Basics of Computers and Applications, Basics of Environment and Pollution Control and Technical abilities for the post.
