Applications are invited through online from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Environmental Engineer in A.P. Pollution Control Board for a total of 21 vacancies in the scale of pay of Rs. 57,100–1,47,760 within the age group of 18 – 42 years as on 01/07/2023.
The candidate shall apply online through Commission’s Website https://psc.ap.gov.in The application can be submitted from 30/01/2024 to 19/02/2024 up to 11:59 mid night.

APPSC Assistant Environmental Engineer Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

Pollution Control Board | Must possess basically a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering of a recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or qualified in section A and B of AMIE(India) Civil examination. |
Age Limit
Candidates should have the age group of 18-42 years as on 01.07.2023.
- Lower age limit – 18 years
- Upper age limit – 42 years
Age Relaxation
Age Relaxation is applicable to the categories as detailed below

| EXPLANATION: Provided that the persons referred to at Sl.Nos.3 & 4 above shall, after making the deductions referred to in sub Rule 12 (c) (i) & (ii) of A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules not exceed the Maximum age limit prescribed for the post. The age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen is applicable for those who have been released from Armed Forces other than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency. | ||
Application Fee
Applicant must pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) towards application processing fee and Rs 120/- (Rupees One Hundred Twenty only) towards examination fee.
However, the following categories of candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee Rs.120/- only.
- SC, ST, BC, PBDs & Ex-Servicemen.
- Families having Household Supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department, A.P. Government (Residents of Andhra Pradesh).
- Un-employed youth as per G.O.Ms.No.439, G.A (Ser-A) Dept., dated: 18/10/1996 should submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission.
